"Wee" Baby quilt for a girl - handmade

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quilting Quickly: Patterns, Techniques & Tips »

Instructions

Jenny Doan - she is the best. Jelly Charms section of course - although I modified slightly.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Children

Style: Cute

Materials

Benatax Baby talk, Kona cotton

What was your inspiration?

Made this for a shower gift for a friend. She hasn't come up with the official name of the baby girl yet - but has been calling her "Wee" - thus - Wee is embroidered in the quilt.

What are you most proud of?

so much fun to make....putting the pattern together - love it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

be creative! Have lots of bobbins ready to go!

thank you. that's the nickname the mom has given baby so far - so I am sure it will stick. One of mine we called peanut before he was born and he had that nickname for quite some time.

Ooh very nice baby quilt! I'm planning quilts for my cousin's girl & boy. Just waiting on the charm packs from MSQC to arrive. This is the pattern I've planned. :)
