What are you most proud of? I miscalculated the length of my towels by a few inches. By the end of the second towel, I had the apron rod all the way released and used a crochet hook to finish the last 6 rows. I barely had room to complete the hem stitch, but it turned out just fine. I learned a lot from this experience.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I was measuring as I went along, making sure each color section was the same as the previous one like it so I'd make the second towel identical to the first. What I didn't do was calculate the total length of the first towel to recognize it was a bit longer than I intended. Had I done that, I would have known to make the header between the two towels just a tad over what I wanted for the fringes. As it was, I made the header too generous. My advice... be sure double check the warp length calculation and total length of the towel so you do not run into the issue I had. It all turned out OK in the end, but imagine the sinking feeling in my heart as I neared the end of that second towel and saw how close it was. I didn't know it would be enough warp length until I got to those last few crochet hooked rows.

Thank you! I love weaving, every part of it. It is a most relaxing craft and such fun to see the product created in front of my eyes as I go along.
