This is so lovely! What a wonderful gift! And your quilt label is so special! How large is it? It looks like it's a pretty big quilt!

Hi Cori, I purchased the wholecloth on line at www.cottonpatch.co.uk there are lots of designs and they also do the backings - you can see all the options here http://www.cottonpatch.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?page=search&SS=wholecloth+&PR=-1&TB=O&ACTION=Go%21

Thanks Pauline, I will check it out! beautiful work! How long did it tKe you?

Hi Cori, it took about 5 months to stitch it. I worked on it almost every day for 4-6 hours. Lot of work but I really enjoyed doing it. Helped to have a hoop on a stand which took the weight of the quilt and allowed me to turn it through 360 degrees so I could stitch all the elements of the design in the direction I work in best. I guess you could also quilt it on a frame really well
