What was your inspiration?
My niece is a Marine,her new husband is in Navy and has been deployed to the Mid East 4 times. I gave them the choice of this finished in this size as a wall hanging or as a queen size quilt. They choose the the wall hanging so I will finish the quilting and bind it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure all fabrics are the same weight. My white strips stretched out a little.
