Instructions
I used Adobe Illustrator to set up the text pieces and a paper cutter. The swatches were done with pinking sheers and attached with double stick tape. Easy! The hardest part was waiting for the RSVPs to come in so we could finalize the seating chart! My computer is in storage right now, otherwise I would be happy to share my template.

What was your inspiration?
My first job in high school was at a fabric store, and I have visited many since then. I wanted my love of sewing and fabric to be reflected in our wedding to add a personal touch. I wanted to mimic the look of the swatch cards that are found on the end of a roll of fabric in the store.
What are you most proud of?
The cards made an elegant touch to the tables and the colors blended with our wedding colors (soft pink and dove grey). We balanced it with a tool box set out for the guest cards in honor of my husband who is a carpenter.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
A project like this is great to add a personal touch to your wedding. It adds a special touch that makes your wedding different from any other.
