What was your inspiration?
The bride's wedding dress had a detail on the waist which inspired the appliqu.
What are you most proud of?
The sparkly sugar finish on the entire cake came out well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If there is no pattern for something you want to create, use trial and error until you get the results you want. We even video-taped the process the next day to help others feel confident in their ability to figure things out and create completely original designs. :)
