What materials did you use? Cotton muslin, poly organza, the cheapest lace I could find

What are you most proud of? The changes I made to the pattern to add the sheer upper back seems to have worked very well so far--pattern modification is not something I've generally had good results with!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Allow yourself plenty of time. It took me 3 different attempts to adjust the bust in order to find something that worked, and I ended up having to convert the bodice to princess seams. I have a little less than 6 months to finish the real version now, and I'm getting a bit nervous, knowing how much hand-sewing is in store!

Your dress looks like a great fit. Good luck with it.

How fun. Making your wedding dress by using Susan's course on couture techniques is a wonderful idea. Your muslin results look reaaly good. What fabric will you be using for your dress?
