What was your inspiration?
This was for a very pretty, sweet outside wedding. The bride requested something "not-fussy", a simple white tiered wedding with minimal decorations. Her flowers were carnations so I added just a few. I will say that this was my first carnation try so each one was a little different as I went along and figured out what worked best, but the bride was happy and that was what counted!
What are you most proud of?
That I got it there in one piece! LOL* it was an hour drive and you always find the potholes when you pray there aren't any!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you can, with a tiered cake...travel works best if you can keep them seperate until you get there and can stack them together. Some designs don't allow for this but if you can....make the time to do that, get there early to set it up there. You'll have a better chance to get a clean finished product.
