What was your inspiration?
I think there was a book of fabric covered albums (YEARS ago) that I originally got the idea from.
What are you most proud of?
To be able to give a gift that is beautiful, useful and different. After all, how many toasters can a couple use?
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Basically, you are just covering the photo album with batting, then fabric. Make sure there is enough ease to be able to shut the album! Cover a cardboard frame with batting, then fabric. Center the invitation in the frame and glue the entire frame to the album. Decorate with fabric flowers, ribbon, lace bead, etc. as desired.
