This pair of shuttles are made from a striking piece of sapele with some gorgeous grain patterns and a good lustre. As with all my shuttles these are hand cut, shaped and sanded before a finish of Danish oil is applied to highlight the wood and to give some protection. Shuttle size - Length - 22.4cm or 8 7/8" Width - 3.2cm or 1 1/2" Thickness - 5mm or 3/16 Wood type - Sapele from West and East Africa - Entandrophragma cylindricum. (hardwood)
