cut card board the size you want your rug....this one is fairly small....cut slits about 1-2 inches apart in both ends of card board .Cut fabric 2 inches wide, you can either leave it like that, or fold in half and sew down one side so the edges aren't as raw...you can do it anyway you like depending on the look you are going for...I personally like the ragged look best!!
