Instructions

I'm glad the pattern mentioned to weave in the ends before weaving the two sets of strips together. It would have been a big tangled mess if I hadn't done that!

Materials

Cascade 220 that I kettle dyed with Greener Shades dyes. It was super fast and easy, and a lot of fun! I enjoyed watching it take shape.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

As I was knitting I noticed the edges curling in a lot. (This might be because I was using wool instead of acrylic.) Right before I started the second strips I thought about it. If I finished it completely, I wouldnt be able to block it because the strips would all be woven together and it wouldnt lie flat. So I put the stitches on a piece of yarn as a stitch holder and I blocked it right before I started the second strips. It blocked nicely and flattened out, then I did the second strips, wove the strips together, and finished.
