What was your inspiration?
I bought on sale fabric in colors and patterns that I would never have, otherwise! I am challenging myself to only use the fabrics that came in the set for the BOM. It's quite a leap from the little calico prints and solids I am so at home with.
What are you most proud of?
Trying something new... getting totally out of my box... still not sure where this is going-- at the risk of sounding grandiose-- this quilt is a lot like life-- you can plan all you want, but it never going to come out the way you think it should-- so learn to appreciate the unexpected surprises that come your way.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I would recommend the class to anyone-- it;s not a big investment of time, it's fun to share and see what everyone else is doing, and heck, it's free! TFL
