This ring is gorgeous. I have not done a lot of wire work, but this looks like a good project. Do you need a mandrel and/or a jewelry hammer?

Thank you! Yes, for accurate sizing you will need a ring mandrel and to work harden and shape the ring a rubber hammer is very useful. I use a stainless steel ring mandrel that I purchased at Rio Grande and a rubber hammer from Home Depot. The second last step in making this ring is to hammer it on the steel mandrel to harden the wire, even out the weaving and ensure a completely round shape. I call that the second last step because my final step is always to tumble wire jewelry with stainless steel shot in a tumbler to polish and harden even more. :) Hope that helps and just shout if you have any other questions! :)
