Beautiful in it's simplicity! And the beads add to the beauty for sure. I found the beads make the shawl, esp. light ones easier to get around my shoulders and love the little extra weight they add.

I don't know the size of the beads - but they were so small that some of them let the crochet hook to pass through

Very pretty. I have made one shawl from Laura Nelkin's classes and am almost finished with a second. I have thought about finding an easier one for working away from home. This just might be the one.

Thank you - yes I don't have much experience with beads - so definitely to start with the simple one - is the best choice

How beautiful!!! Had you knit a lot of lace before? Do you have actual lace needles?

thank you :) - I do have few lace projects :) and I always try different needles until I find the most suitable once for each project. This specific project I've made also during traveling so I wanted to keep it simple that I don't have to look at the chart all the time. To add beads on every other row along a shawl was too much of responsibility for me already so I had to keep it simple. I was inspired by the Lacy Zig Zag shawl you can find it here in Craftsy for free..
