What was your inspiration?
This is a small meditative quilt for the Christian season of Lent, based on Mark 1: 9-15, the reading for the First Sunday of Lent. The story talks about Jesus' baptism, followed by his 40 days in the wilderness. This quilt is a meditation piece to reflect upon one's own baptism and times of "living in the wilderness." What are you most proud of?
The design and using materials I had on hand to represent the movement from water into wilderness.
