This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Art Quilting: Pictorial Techniques »

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Traditional, Classic, Whimsical

Materials

photo, paper, pencil & pen

What was your inspiration?

The wonderful relationship my daughter has with her Daddy! She adores him!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

start with a pencil! Lol, I ended up redoing mine cause I didn't start with a pencil... Wendy did tell us to use a pencil, I just got ahead of myself.
Now I just have to get it enlarged, and start thinking about fabrics!

It is always great to have different projects at different stages.... something to always draw us to stitch!

Lol neither have I!! I'm the type that I like to jump right into the hard stuff... My first paper piecing project is a twin quilt made of Disney princess faces; 4-5 hours per square! Lol I skip the practice and go straight to the hard stuff. Lol.
