I made my headband by
- chaining 71
- single crocheting 8 rows

I made the fake bow by
- chaining 25
- single crocheting 7 rows

(I didn't have enough wool left to make the real bow)

What are you most proud of?

I love the color, which is unlike anything I have, and I'm happy that my fun (crocheting) went into something really useful!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Measure the headband around your head after the first or second row of single crocheting!
I started my headband 3 times, because the first time I made most of it, it was too short, so too tight around my head (68 chain), the second time it was too loose (74 chain), so don't do it like me and crochet 5 rows before checking the size is right!
