They are half square triangles starting out at 3 7/8 inches cut in half on the diagonal once. Sew a dark to a light and press to the dark. One block of 16 total little squares should measure 12 inches square.
This is stunning. I saw this a while ago on your blog and has inspired me to whip a quilt up myself using this same pattern. love the colours, composition, everything! I've started my HST collection - it's my "filler" activity while I have other projects on the go....
This is very good...it makes you feel good, its wonderful to look at and your piecing & quilt just make the whole quilt. The colors that you chose are wonderful.
Thank you so much for sharing.
If you want a solid bottom for the purse, I suggest covering a piece of chipboard and placing it into the bottom of the bag. This will be removable. Chipboard can be purchased from whomever the sell scrapbook materials.
I love this warm and cool half square scrappy quilt. I love most crazy quilts and anything so I can use up left over scraps. I have done sewing for missions for about 20 plus years and it is such a savings to use almost all of the fabric one uses. Keep up the quilting. am moving soon, but love to keep contact with quilts friends. K
Love this pattern and your Blog, especially your Pyrex Series. I live in Corning, NY. We LOVE Pyrex! It's on display in the Corning Museum of Glass (CMoG).
Great quilt, and I love getting ideas that don't need pages of pattern. Just arrange the half square triangles on the design while, and there's a new quilt!
I really like this! I've been wanting to make something with lots of bright colors and this is perfect! I'm impressed with how the back is so perfectly centered. Any hints about how to do that?
