What materials did you use? This was a kit from Connecting Threads

For the first time since taking the class I really enjoyed the FMQ on this. One thing I must say, so much easier when it is a small item, I am still battling like crazy with bed size quilts. Just can't get them to move like a small item.

You did a great job! I'm with you about the bigger quilts. I have a quilt all ditched (ESS!) and waiting for feathers, but I'm so afraid I'll make them too small and the quilt will be stiff.

VERY cute!!! Love all the details you added around your middle motif. Very well done :)

Thanks Cindy - getting better with practise!

Thanks cblong03, I have just added done a whole lot of practice FMQ on a throw for my 9 year old grand-daughter. She liked the colors of the quilt so I told her she could have it as long as I could use it as a practice quilt. We came up with some designs together, including feathers, and had great fun. The FMQ is far from perfect but she loves it and every little bit helps me become more familiar with everything. I will post a picture of it.
