Instructions

It took me sometime to create an exact pattern for the doll body and the clothes. Some experience is needed in sewing parts together and attaching the hair and embroidering the face.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Toy

For: Children

Style: Eco-Friendly, Cute

Materials

Cotton and wool - for clothes and body. Some of my materials are recycled (the ones I made the clothes from) which guaranties they the clothes could be washed without shrinking. I used silicone batting which make the doll very soft and ready to be hugged.

What was your inspiration?

When I saw this types of dolls for the first time I thought these were the most beautiful dolls I'd ever seen. I wanted to learn how to make them and invested some time and efforts in doing so until I was please with the results. What I love about them is that they are so nice to touch. hug and play with, that even adults want to have them.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of the final results overall.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is not an easy project but it is not that hard too. The results very much depend on you own vision and creativity. Don't be afraid to learn something new.
