What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If the recipient of the hat has a head circumference right at the top of the size range, you may want to make the next size up. Also, cotton has very little give. Keep this in mind when choosing which size to make. For example, the the baby has an 18" head and you want to make it in 100% cotton, you may want to go up to the large. It may be a little big at first, but she'll grown into it.
