What was your inspiration?
My son (on the left in the picture) had a large collection of model VWs in addition to the one he drove.
What are you most proud of?
That he was delighted with it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Someone gave me a graph of the VW and I just designed the afghan around that. It was larger than an ordinary afghan as he wanted it to be his bedspread.
