What was your inspiration?
My friend Vonnie was my inspiration -- she is fabulously chic and also a triathlete, so I wanted something both sporty and sophisticated. This was designed to take her from the Rose Parade in the morning (with a turtleneck underneath), to the Rose Bowl game in the afternoon, to dinner afterwards (under a blazer).
What are you most proud of?
The fit! After I knitted up the sample pictured here, I asked four different friends with four very different figures (bust sizes 30-38) to try it on, and they all loved the way it looked on them!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Check the fit often. This pattern is written to be modified to your own body and you'll wear it more often if you like the way it fits!
