Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I used the tutorial to make a couple of different scientist for an Icing Smiles child with cancer. His dream cake was volcano and he loves scientist. I was so honored to make this cake for him and I got to meet Sawyer who is a wonderful little boy. I used wilton fondant and gum paste to make one figure and then I used gum paste to make the second scientist. I love edible glue to join the pieces together. Lesson learn for me was the need to make the figures at least 3 days before I needed them and I need to practice more on the size of the head and body for more uniformity. All in all I was happy with the project.
