I made the first one exactly as designed with my adjustments for waist and hips, I don't care for where that blouse fell on my front waist. So I lengthened the bodice and peplum. It fits well and I get a lot of compliments on the sparkly zipper.

Being queenly sized, I am very glad to see sewing techniques that embrace my curves, instead of hiding them. That tent look that I see in most stores in ready made garments are so ridiculous and not the least bit flattering. I love to sew and I have wanted to learn how to tailor clothes to fit me just the way I want it to.
