What was your inspiration?

I've had my eye on this pattern for quite some time...just finally got around to it when I found a knit fabric I liked.

What are you most proud of?

It fits beautifully.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Hand baste the horizontal tucks on the front before machine sewing. I don't think mine are done according to the instructions...for a very easy pattern, that part of the instruction was lacking clear direction.

I have this same pattern and agree that the 1. instruciton stich pivoting to the folds is very confusing. But your shirt looks great. Can you give me a close up on your tucks or more details as to how to do them? thanks so much and beautiful shirt I hope mine looks as nice. ;) Barb ;)

I just uploaded a close-up of the tucks, and neckline. I just did a straight tuck. On the neckline, instead of using bias tape for the facing as instructed in the pattern, I serged the edge, turned, pressed, and top stitched. If you don't have a serger, an overcast stitch on your sewing machine would probably work just as well. I just didn't want the bulk, or the "show through" of the bias tape.
