Instructions

I love old turn-of-the-century crochet patterns. I adapted this scarf from an old vintage shawl pattern. My version is much easier to understand and to make. Although it looks complicated, this scarf is very easy to make - it uses a thick yarn and a large hook and works up quickly. Lots of pictures to help you follow whats going on.

So approximately what ply yarn would I use? Thanks for the hook size in mm. Many people forget that us here in Australia we don't understand when a letter is used to describe the size of a hook. It's a beautiful looking pattern. Can't wait to get started.
