plain white broadcloth, batting, powder blue fleece backing.
What was your inspiration?
A friend of mine rescued it from her friend's trash can. The grandmother who did the handstitching 50 years ago, had recently passed and the friend didnt know what to do with it and she was just going to throw it away. My friend brought it to me to do something with, a blanket or a bunch of pillows.
What are you most proud of?
That i was able to get it done with all the puckering in many places and not to ruin the handstitching that the grandmother had done.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't!! It looks much harder than it really is!! It caused me much stress in just doing this simple pattern.
