I used gumpaste for the gold sugar poinsettia and Fondx fondant.
What was your inspiration?
This cake was for a Christmas Party. I wanted to create a festive cake, but yet Vintage. My pedestal cake stand was a big inspiration for this cake.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of creating a new cake design for my portfolio.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you have an idea of your color scheme. I was provided a color swatch from the client, and just have fun with it.
