I used vintage brocade and vintage buttons for this beautiful evening clutch bag.
What was your inspiration?
The fabric was my inspiration and the 1930's Charlies Aunt pattern.
What are you most proud of?
The finished project was just what I wished to create. A stunning evening bag!! The fabric I used has a reversible side so was able to use both sides to great effect. The vintage buttons are simply goregous.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time read the instructions first. Emma Brennan's patterns and instructions are a cinche to follow.
Press as you go and use the recommended batting and fusible fabric. The choices are endless.
