What was your inspiration?
I was so desperate to try out the floral piped cage on this course that when my sister asked for a gothic cake for her birthday I was determined to give it a try.
What are you most proud of?
That I achieved it on my first attempt
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
plan it out, be patient and let it dry thoroughly before peeling off the baking parchment. Dont panic if it cracks - you can always stick together with royal icing. Give yourself plenty of time.
