Iused designer cotton called French Journal by Michael Miller fabrics. The colourful grosgrain ribbon is from my vintage ribbon stash.
What was your inspiration?
The inspiration for this bag is a great friend who loves anything handmade. She is having a rough time at the moment so I thought I would cheer her up with this colourful project.
What are you most proud of?
The wonderful fabric and ribbon are divine and I love the way they combine to form a delightful bag.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be inspired by fabric as this was quite easy to sew. Use the interfacing and fusible fleece recomended by the designer.
