Vinyl, heavy duty snap fastners, thread, denim sewing needle & teflon sewing foot.

What was your inspiration?

I needed a change purse. I had some vinyl and decided to use that and try out sewing with my new Teflon foot.

What are you most proud of?

These were so fast to make. I have never applied a Heavy-Duty snap fastner before and it went pretty well for the first time...I did manage to keep my fingers out of the way of the hammer too...lol! It was my first time sewing vinyl...the white vinyl is thinner than the black...the black was a bit harder to sew through...the Teflon foot helped I think!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This was so easy and fast to make...I didn't even make a pattern...just cut the vinyl with my rotary cutter and made sure to use a strong needle (denim) in my sewing machine...I also used my new Teflon foot.
