Use: 300 grams solid vegetable fat (whatever you find on the market that will go solid in the fridge as you will need to work with the dough) 300 grams flour 10 spoons of vine (red is as good as white) pinch of salt --------------- mix everything together and rest the dough in the fridge for 2 hrs or so
roll the dough out to desired thickness (it will ,puff up quite nicely so no need to do it too thick)If you find that it is getting sticky just put it back to the fridge till solid and good to work with cut out smaller shapes circles, hearts or so for sweet ones) or stick shapes for salty onse.
bake in midd heated oven 160-180 depending on your oven but basically till golden brown ( it goes very quickly so watch it often in my oven takes 10-12 min. Even less when oven is well heated. Really depends on your oven so figure it out but it is easy.
When baked you choose if you want them sweet, so sprinkle with a bit of icing sugar but no need and the salty sticks just shake some salt over them and serve.
All done no sugar added in them and they melt in your mouth HMM!
