Instructions

Weaving width was 34.5” wide, 46” long with EPI of 7. My goal was 9 PPI but it averaged 8-9ish.

Off the loom the width bounced to 30” and length 42.5”. Fringe before washing measured 5”.

After washing:
Width is 29”, length is 39”. I was aiming for 30 x 40 so I’m off by an inch, darn! Fringe stayed 5”.

What are you most proud of?

technically this is one of my "cleanest" projects. It delights me to no end that i felt joined all the ends so there were no overlaps of yarn!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure that when using knitting yarns in weaving, you use a warp yarn that can stand being put under tension. A strong yarn with not very much twist and lots of lanolin still in the fiber usually does well. It will bloom and soften when washing. Bartlett yarns worked very well for this purpose!
