What are you most proud of? The look of the necklace! It is definitely unique and I love getting compliments on how cool it is. Also, the time it took me to design and complete this piece was under an hour.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Practice the weaving technique a few times before using a good wire and enjoy working the wire. It is so relaxing!

Can you recommend how one should go about learning how to do this? It looks fun and I have a draw-plate. I like the torc, it is pretty.

Sure, you can go to youtube and search how to's on viking weaving or viking knitting. I haven't actually made a video on how to do this, but if I do I will let you know. I haven't found a really good one on youtube, but you can learn the basics there. You do not need to buy any expensive tools as they suggest in the videos. All you need is a wooden dowel, I have even used a No. 2 pencil as my weaving rod. You will need basic wire working pliers, round-tip pliers, and wire cutters. If you need any other info, please feel free to message me.
