What was your inspiration?
My love of knitting has been a great inspiration for my jewelry designs. "Knitting" with wire isn't quite the same process, in fact traditional Viking Knitting is more like weaving but there are similarities. For this particular bracelet, the sea also provided inspiration. It reminds me of free diving in the Caribbean for sand dollars in pristine waters.
What are you most proud of?
The positive feedback which has further inspired me to offer classes in Viking Knit and chain maille jewelry making techniques.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time starting the weave and be consistent with the wire tension.
