Finished viking hat from my pattern. Currently working on rewriting the pattern and adding baby/toddler/child sizes!
What was your inspiration?
My ginger viking man asked me for a crocheted viking hat, so I made one. It was so popular with friends and random strangers that I decided to refine and publish the pattern.
What are you most proud of?
Working out how to curve the horns was quite the challenge. I am working on a new, easier method for the re-worked version which I think is much more awesome than the current version!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch your tension, a bit looser for the hat, a bit tighter for the horns. Some assembly required.
