Instructions

I strung the seed beads onto the thread before winding the shuttle, leaving them all on the ball thread, and slid a bead up into a picot whenever I wanted one there. The design is really basic, just rings and chains, joining into the metal filigree as needed. Materials

Brass filigree, Lizbeth thread size 20, seed beads size 11/0, round bead 6mm, ribbon and findings.

What was your inspiration?

Metal filigrees given to me by a friend.

What are you most proud of?

It looks very Victorian.

A lot of bead shops carry different types of filigree now, and there are a lot of Etsy shops selling them, so they aren't too hard to find. Simple ring and chain tatting combinations work well, joining into the filigree as needed.

Thanks, a set of this type is not that hard to make, either. You just need the skills of ring, chain, join, and lock join.
