I did this for my husband's family reunion as a fundraiser. He came up with the idea and design. I machine embroidered all the names and branches of service of the members of his mother's side of the family that have served or are serving in the military. What was your inspiration?

It was my husband's idea and design.

What are you most proud of?

That everyone loved it and it raised over $700.00. I have also sold another one to a family member. I also made one for our church veterans. It was given to the youth group as a fund raiser for their mission trip.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure you have EVERYONE'S name on it. I had to go back and add a few that were missed. Luckily, I had not finished the top yet and still had room to add them. Also, be patient. Each block of names took about 2 hours on the embroidery machine. I
