What was your inspiration?
New grandchild. As I am a librarian, I decided I wanted something related to a book. The back is purple, chosen because my daughter-in-law loves purple and it worked well with the front.
What are you most proud of?
I am not a visual person and have difficulty designing what I want to do. I have what I think is a good plan, but when I actually start working, it doesn't come out right. I had tried using a nine-block pattern for the background but it looked horrible. I went to a friend's house and asked her if it would look okay with so many dots. She said yes, so I pulled out my nine-blocks and just used the circles and I am very pleased with the result.
