Materials
Lots of Red Heart and Bernat yarns and scraps. F and G Hooks, yarn needle.
What was your inspiration?
My Niece and her Husband are expecting their first baby in September and I'm sending them a whole bunch of home made things.
What are you most proud of?
This project is multi-purpose. 1) the hat and cocoon can be worn during infancy and then converted to a carry bag and hand puppet later on. 2) the foods can be made into a mobile with a bit of string and chop sticks. 3) the cocoon converts to a carry bag for all the foods. 3) as the baby grows they will have lots of fun foods and a caterpillar to play with.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Save all your scrap yarn and use it when making the foods!
