What was your inspiration?
My mother gave me the purse handles from her stash. They must be as old as I am!
What are you most proud of?
This was a 100% stash-based project. It was great to be able to create something just from materials I had on hand.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
For a quilted look, rather than use interfacing, make a quilted sandwich using canvas and thin cotton batting. it worked great!
