What materials did you use? The fabric is raw silk from a dress. I used 100Wt thread for the quilting in two different colours. The batting is a layer of cotton, with half a layer of wool on top.

Thanks. It probably took about 6 hours to complete (it is 8"x24" - so not too big).

Totally gorgeous! Am thinking of a similar set for my best friend, using ever-so-pale water colours for the runner and each placemat... assuming I have the patience to keep going!
