Betsy Hershberg's class is great and I am using up remnants of embroidery threads from my shamefully large stash. Just have a play, use small knitting needles, this is done on a size 0 needle but they are still a bit too large. For the next bead, I am painting the wooden bead in a similar colour to the yarn to blend it in.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I live by the sea and am a scuba diver, so sea critters and coral inspire a lot of my work.
What are you most proud of?
That I managed to turn a project that wasn't working around, this is only my third bead made as a result of Betsy's online class and I am really pleased that I figured out how to make the ribs by turning the swatch inside out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
learn on the needle, graphing of bead placement is great and a good skill to have but in reality, your skills and technique grows through giving things a go and just seeing what happens.
