What was your inspiration?
Colette Peters inspired me to try brush embroidery, from her course Vintage Cakes, Modern Methods
What are you most proud of?
The cake is elegant, and that it brought smiles and tears to the brides (and family's) eyes!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This was my first time using the brush embroidery technique, and the entire process only took 90 minutes. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. While I free handed, I would suggest a clear cut plan to avoid gaps in your design.
