This is a vintage skirt pattern that I love. I made these 30 years ago for Izzie's mother, back when all girls had to wear a skirt or dress to school. It fits well & always looks neat. I like to make the girl's an outfit for each Holiday. It's fun to "theme something up"

She looked so cute in it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you stabilze your embroidery well on stretch knit shirts. And beware that a skirt that is cut to flare out like this uses a lot more fabric (& creates more waste) than a skirt with an elastic waist all around. An elastic waist skirt creates no wasted fabric.
