What was your inspiration?
I was given some old quilting magazines and there was a quilt pattern that inspired me. I love appliqu and was looking for the perfect gift for my close friend. This was perfect!
What are you most proud of?
How creative the process was and how finding the perfect fabrics and trims became my passion. I also took some free motion quilting risks that really paid off.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Let the process lead you and you'll be amazed at the results.
