Use scraps from other Valentine projects & designed the heart block as I went along. I started with the 1 1/2 inch x 1 1/2 inch squares for the 9 patch. I used 4- 2 inch sq. to the make the cut off corners of the solid patchs. I added the narrow white border. Then cut 2 larges squares on diagonal for the 4 corner triangles.
